Q) How do I register for the Camps?
A) You can register online through our Online registration. Or download and print the application form from this site, then post or fax it along with payment details to Mike Hovenic's Soccer Camps. You will receive confirmation of your booking within 48 hours of Mike Hovenic's Soccer Camps receiving your registration.


Q) What do the kids bring to the camps?
A) Soccer ball, shin guards, sunscreen, soccer cleats, sack lunch and water bottle.


Q) What is the minimum and maximum age group?
A) Camps - boys and girls 5-14 years


Q) Does my child need to be a good player to attend?
A) No. The camp program is based on learning the basic technical tactical elements of the game and at the same time having fun and making new friends.


Q) Do boys and girls train together on the field?
A) All of the camps are set up for a co-ed environment. Boys and girls will train together on the field in groups adjusted according to age and ability.


Q) Can campers sign up for additional weeks either at registration or after they have completed their first week?
A) Parents should feel free to register for additional weeks either at registration or to notify the camp director when their week of camp has been completed.


Q) Can my camper be in a group with their friends?
A) Yes, if the age is similar. We recommend that each camper is in an appropriate age and ability to maximize their learning potential.


Q) Is the camp well supervised?
A) Campers are supervised by counselors and coaches. Supervision is provided at camp drop off and pick up. Campers going home with anyone different than parent or legal guardian must have written note on file with camp director.


Q) Are campers in the hot sun all day training?
A) Campers are given scheduled water and rest breaks in the shade during the day. Campers are also highly encouraged to drink plenty of fluids during the day.


Q) What happens if my camper gets hurt or sick at camp?
A) Parents or legal guardians are notified at home or at emergency numbers provided on the camp registration. General first aid is provided by staff.
